Tarmac Tunstead (CRH plc subsidiary) operates one of Europe's largest limestone quarries and cement plants. Buxton Lime at the same site is a leading UK lime producer for industrial, environmental, and water treatment applications.
This combined facility would be a major CO2 source, with captured emissions transported via pipeline to the North Feeder AGI near Chapel-en-le-Frith.
