This section reaches the Wirral coast at Leasowe, where the Coastal AGI (Above Ground Installation) will be located. This major facility includes:
- Compressor: Industrial-scale compression equipment
- Vent Stack: Up to 50 metres high
- Buildings: Up to 15m (4-5 storeys)
- Site Size: Maximum 300m x 180m
The Coastal AGI will compress CO2 for injection into the offshore pipeline to the Morecambe Bay storage site.
